  1. My favorite summer memories all include camp. I was at camp every summer from age 12 through the end of college. I loved spending time with friends, working at the lake, and just being outside.

I would like those fabric-covered magnets, please. OK, thank you, bye.

  2. One of my fav summer memories happened just a few summers ago in Almont, CO. My husband and I and my best friend and her husband all went up to visit my grandfather at his summer place in Almont. We rafted and barbecued and took the jeep up the mountain and saw a huge bear after dark! It was a really fun time. My grandfather passed away just last year, so I'm super glad we made time for fun family times like that one.

  3. Summertime at Grandma's house in Applegate, Oregon, was a favorite. Tubing down the river (and getting sucked under low-hanging tree branches), picking fresh blackberries to top the homemade vanilla ice cream, and helping Gramps plant his garden.

  4. My favorite summer memory is watching the fireworks over Sleepy Eye Lake. We'd pick up my grandma and grandpa then stop by Casey's General Store for a treat before the show began. Good times, I tell ya.

  5. One of my favorite summer memories was camping, in a little green tent, on the deck, with my little sister. We toasted mini marshmallows on nails over lit matches and slept in disney sleeping bags. (My mom was always worried that mountain lions would come down and get us) Hence, why, we only camped as far as the back yard. :)

  6. My favorite summer memory is going to summer camp and even staying all summer when I worked there. It was so much fun! I also remember being with my family, swimming, playing with the kids in the neighborhood outside, BBQ, and enjoying the long days of summer.

  7. Yay! So fun!

My favorite summer memory was the fourth of July. In the morning, my mom would give us red, white and blue crepe paper to decorate our bikes. All the kids in the neighborhood would then ride around and have a parade. The day ended with bathings suits, squirt guns, bbq, otter pops and fireworks! FABULOUS!

  8. We made driftwood rafts and floated around on the ocean in front of our house in Kodiak. One summer an orphaned pet seal, Trouble, swam around with us (really!)

  9. Definitely eating fresh corn on the cob on the deck. Strawberry shortcake for dessert, made with fresh strawberries from the neighbor's garden. Is it bad that most of my summer memories are food-related?!

  10. I fell in love during the summer months. When summer comes back to Colorado Springs, the very smells and look of all the green and sunshine take my heart back to the thrill of getting to know my husband for the very first time.

  11. My favorite summer memories: pulling all-nighters to finish 4-H sewing projects before the judging, counseling at Camp Joy Bible camp, and going camping & hiking with my family.
